Ísafjörður in August || Part Two

Ísafjörður, Iceland

A few photos from my three weeks in the Westfjords. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to take many photos of the town on a sunny day before my camera broke. When I arrived, the sky was light until half past midnight and the sun rose before 5am- an abundance of sunlight. See Part One for more pictures of Ísafjörður.

    • Not a silly question. I absolutely do. My family home in MD is surrounded by old woods and we have some of the biggest maples in the state in our yard. I desperately miss trees. Although, I’m going to post soon on a out-of-city excursion that took us to a lovely evergreen grove with some of the biggest trees I’ve seen her yet (20 feet maybe lol). And there are places here that have little trees….like Skaftafell, and they were turning gold in autumn…..it made me quite homesick.
