Twilight on the Black Sand Beach at Vík

I rode along with friends on an errand to Vík last week. Vík is the southernmost village in Iceland and is several hours southeast of Reykjavik. A rain storm was moving along the south coast, and the wind was strong enough to almost knock me over (and get black sand all in my hair). The beach was gorgeous, and the sky really was that blue. Visit an earlier post for pictures taken on the road there. [These photos are unedited, 35mm film shots taken by me with a Canon EOS Rebel 2000, except for the last picture, taken by Malo Adeux.]
