House on Tjarnargata in Reykjavik, IcelandMy daily walk to campus takes me along Tjarnargata, which has become one of my favorite streets in Reykjavik (Hverfisgata is one of my other favorites). This residential street run along the edge of Tjörnin (the pond) and is lined with big, beautiful homes with the traditional corrugated metal siding and detailed wood trim you see on so many of the older homes in the city. Yesterday I posted a picture of the entire street (as seen from the center of the frozen pond). [These photos are unedited, 35mm film shots taken by me with a Canon EOS Rebel 2000.]
