ÍS: Baby Season!

Snaefellsnes, Iceland Cute little sheep families on the Snæfellsnes peninsula (fyi: adding peninsula is redundant since that information is contained in the word “Snæfellsnes,” but since most of my readers wouldn’t know automatically that this is a peninsula, I always tack it on). June in the Icelandic countryside sees the landscape finally burst into lush green, pairs of baby sheep bouncing away from passing cars, seabirds laying eggs, and wobbly foals hiding behind their sturdy mothers.
