After Turku, we took a quick stroll around Rauma. Old Rauma is a UNESCO World Heritage site because it is the largest unified historical wooden town in the Nordic countries (about 600 buildings). While the buildings and cobbled streets were thoroughly charming, the bulk of the Old Town was a boutique shopping/dining area. I’m not really one for shopping, but if you like cute shops and boutiques, it might be your speed. However, I’m still glad we stopped and took a look around.
