Some absolutely breathtaking sights seen on a sunny installment of my 3 week trip around Iceland’s Ring Road. These are from the general areas around Skagafjörður, in the north of the country (on our way from the Westfjords to Akureyri. The purple flowers are lupine, which is actually an invasive species in Iceland.
