This is the beautiful Alþingishúsið, where the Icelandic Parliament meets. It’s delightfully small (at least that’s my view coming from Washington, D.C.). Recently, there have been quite a few large protests outside the Alþingi by Icelanders who are unhappy about the nation withdrawing from negotiations to join the EU. I took quite a few pictures at one of these this week, so I’ll be sharing those in the upcoming week or two. [These photos are scanned 35mm film shots taken by me with a Canon EOS Rebel 2000.]
